Buying from a store you have not used before naturally comes with some hesitation about how your payment information is handled. Here is exactly what we accept right now and how it is processed.

Accepted payment methods

At this time, checkout accepts payments processed by:

  • PayPal
  • Shopify Payments (card payments where available at checkout)

The options available when you place an order are always the ones shown at checkout.

Our responsibility: THUMBGEEK TECNOLOGIA, LDA is your seller and is responsible for order fulfillment, customer service, returns, refunds, and our obligations under applicable law. Payment, platform, and delivery providers support our operations; using their services does not transfer or reduce our responsibilities to you. How your payment is handled

We use two payment service providers:

  • PayPal — when you choose PayPal, you complete payment through PayPal’s secure checkout. PayPal processes your payment information to complete your transaction. We do not see, store, or have access to your full PayPal password or full card details stored in your PayPal account.
  • Shopify Payments — when you pay by card (or another method Shopify Payments shows at checkout), payment is processed by Shopify Payments. Card details are handled by that provider; we do not store your full card number on our systems.

In both cases, we receive the confirmation needed to fulfill your order. Checkout runs over an SSL encrypted connection (HTTPS).

When you are charged

You are charged when your order is placed, not when it ships (unless the method you choose works differently and that difference is shown at checkout). Prices and shipping are shown in USD at checkout. The total shown at checkout, including shipping where applicable, is the amount you authorize. We do not add hidden fees or countdown timers that do not reflect a real deadline.

Currency

This store displays and charges in USD. The amount you see at checkout is the amount charged through the payment method you select for that order.

Refunds

If a refund is approved under our Refund Policy, it is returned to the original payment method used for the order (PayPal or Shopify Payments), within the timelines that provider and our policy allow.
